Blog updates and news.
Back again to a new Jello Dashboard version.
This is not a new feature revision. Just some small adjustments and bug fixes.
- Added setting for not displaying private appointments
- Fixed: contexts and projects with spaces are now available as widgets
- Context/project widget is now sorted by due date
- Fixed (must be tested) right language selection for Chinese simplified/Chinese
- Fixed Homepage Widget widths when more than 2 columns are used.
- Added function to reset jello accessible folders on folder management screen and on settings/Other settings.
I’m sorry I was not able to reproduce some date problems:
the after 2:00pm or after 3:00pm appointments on the correct datethe year 4016 reported a couple of timesThe master list weekly calendar not showing today’s items
Maybe it’s my local time zone (though I’ve tested with different timezones as well).
update 15/04/2008
- Appointment and date problems are probably solved today (awaiting confirmation when you re-download the 4.3 version and test again)
- Updated German file
- Extra alert when trying to delete a recurring appointment. The whole series will be deleted.
Thanks everyone for the bug reports! The Google code issue list will be updated.
Get the new version and test it here.

Hi Nicolas,
?
Some versions ago, I just remember there was a link to the flagged mails. I do not know if I’m the only one, but I use to flag new mails as a quick reminder and then I treat them in Jello; the only workaround I use is to type “\flag” in the command field. Is there any other way to find back this “precious” link (at least to me

The sorting by date in the tasks widget is now kind of working, but kind of not working.
All the tasks that appear in the widget are sorted by date, so that works. But, for example, I have the following tasks right now:
2 overdue
1 due tomorrow
3 due in 2 days
1 due in 3 days
3 due in 4 days
1 each due in 7, 10, 11, 23, 36, 64, 77 days
My widget shows:
2 overdue (great!)
none due tomorrow (1 missing)
1 due in 2 days (2 missing)
none due in 3 days (1 missing)
1 due in 4 days (2 missing)
1 each due in 7, 10, 11, 36, 64, 77 days (1 missing)
Hope that’s clear. Thanks for your great work on this!

@chichinliu
Then maybe both files are the same!
Which is the language is it used anyway (I cannot tell the difference)
@Jeff Gautier
I will add this function since it is of use to you.
@Manuel
As you discovered the problemed was caused by a context containing the ? character which I have to add to the restricted chars list.
Issue list updated! Thanks.
@Susan
I have to look closely with those data you provided.
I hope I will get back with a fix!
