03.6 The Tag manager

The Tag manager is a screen in which you can see all tags and folders of the system in linear display along with all their properties.

The default sort order is by tag name, but that can change just like all the other Jello Dashboard lists. Clicking on a tag will show its notes at the preview panel and double clicking it will bring up the tag editor form.

The view can be customized to show more tag fields and it is saved like any other list.

You can use the Tag manager toolbar to perform a number of actions:

• Create a tag
• Edit the selected tag
• Delete the selected tag(s)
• Start/Stop the selected tag(s)
• Set/Unset privacy
• Convert the selected tag(s) to tag or project
• Filter the tag list to show only Tags, Projects, Folders, Inactive or Private tags
• Refresh the view

You can go to the tag manager screen by clicking on the Tag manager link on the sidebar panel.
